Baxi FAQ
What does Baxi Error Code E119 mean?
E119 indicates low water pressure — your boiler system pressure has dropped below the minimum (usually 1.0 bar). You need to repressurize the system using the filling loop. Once pressure is restored, the boiler should reset automatically. If pressure drops repeatedly, there may be a leak or a failing expansion vessel.
What is Baxi Error Code E133?
E133 is a ‘Gas Supply’ or ‘Ignition’ fault — the boiler failed to light. Check that your gas supply is on. If it is, this could be a frozen condensate pipe (in cold weather), a blocked flue, or a faulty gas valve. A technician needs to diagnose the root cause.
Why is my Baxi boiler losing pressure?
If you have to top up pressure frequently, you likely have a small leak in the system (check radiators and pipes for wet spots) or a faulty expansion vessel. If no external leaks are found, the pressure relief valve may be passing water — a technician should inspect the expansion vessel.
How do I reset my Baxi boiler?
Press and hold the Reset button (or selector switch) for about 3-5 seconds until the display changes or the fault light stops flashing. Do not press it repeatedly if the boiler fails to light — repeated resets can mask a dangerous underlying problem. If it continues locking out, call for service.
